What is the difference between a PRE and an Andalusian?
The terms PRE and Andalusian are often used interchangeably, but there is a difference.
A PRE horse (Pura Raza Española) is a purebred Spanish horse registered with the official ANCCE studbook, recognized for elegance, intelligence, and quality.
An Andalusian horse is a broader term referring to horses from Andalusia, Spain, which may include PRE horses but also crosses or horses without full registration.
In short: all PRE horses are Andalusians, but not all Andalusians are PRE. At NL Stables we mainly offer PRE horses with full papers, ensuring quality and authenticity.
