NL Stables

NL Stables offers an unparalleled concept in the Netherlands: a sport and trade stable focused on training and selling high-quality Spanish horses that have potential for the higher levels of dressage sport. Besides the selection on conformation, movement and health, a pleasant temperament is one of the important requirements that need to be met. At NL Stables, both professional equestrians and amateurs can find a fitting horse. NL Stables is located in Vinkeveen, between Utrecht and Amsterdam, and is run by Nicky Lieberton and Rodrigo Laserna.

Exclusive partner agreement

NL Stables is working in partnership with Yeguada Torreluna, a PRE stud farm that is situated in Sevilla. This breeding farm of Spanish horses has earned acclaim in Spain and far beyond. At Yeguada Torreluna they work with the best genetic material, which already brought about various champions in the inspection ring and top performing sport horses. All horses have passed a clinical and radiographical examination and are free of equine piroplasmose (piro). Given the average height of the Dutch people, size is another selection criteria for the Dutch market. The bigger horses will move into a stall at NL Stables.
NL Stables is the only party in the Benelux to have an exclusive partner agreement with Yeguada Torreluna. The horses are preselected in Spain by Rodrigo Laserna and Nicky Lieberton, after which they travel to the Netherlands to be prepared for international dressage sport and trade.

Horses

The training of our horses is in the hands of Grand Prix rider Rodrigo Laserna. He is supported by stable riders and working students from the Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art. All horses have passed a clinical and radiographic examination and are free of equine piroplasmosis (piro).
