NL Stables training arrangements

Groundwork training:
The aim of Rodrigo's groundwork is to gymnastize the horses so that they can easily connect during training under saddle. It is not about the piaffe/passage trick, but that the horses straighten and collect properly. In Rodrigo's eyes, groundwork and dressage are close together. It is possible to organize groundwork training on location, this will be one day every other week with a minimum number of horses of four.

Dressage lessons:
Rodrigo trained at the Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art in Jerez, Spain, where he was under the tutelage of Rafael Soto. After his training, Rodrigo worked at the famous Heilan equestrian complex in China, where he managed a quadrille. In China he meets Imke Schellekens-Bartels and her mother Tineke, after which he starts working at their Olympic dressage stable Academy Bartels. It is possible to take dressage lessons up to Grand Prix level at our stable in Vinkeveen or to schedule lessons on location.

Clinics:
Organizing a groundwork or dressage clinic is one of the options in the NL Stables training package. The minimum number of horses for a clinic is 6 and the maximum is 10. For a groundwork clinic we recommend a series of three days spread over several weeks. This so that you as a rider can fully experience what groundwork does for your horse under saddle. Rodrigo can also make a correct assessment in three times whether these training sessions are suitable for the horse. A dressage clinic can take place on one day, but can of course also be organized in a multi-day series.

Training days:
At NL Stables it is possible to come and train with your horse at our stable for several days. Your horse will then stay with us on location and will participate in our daily activities. The stable care is completely taken care of and all horses go into the paddock for a few hours. This way you can focus 100% on what you come for, the training. The duration of these training days can be determined by you as a rider. This could be for a weekend, a week or a month. Of course, it is also negotiable to continue training longer at NL Stables.

Training horse:
It is not only an option to train with us together with your horse, but it is also possible to train your horse with us. This means that your horse will be fully under our care and trained by our team. The duration for this option can also be determined according to your own wishes, just like the goals set for these training sessions. In addition to training, the horse can also be competed or trained at other locations. Everything is possible in consultation.
